I am an infrequent user of this café but, I’ve always found it of high standard in terms of; service, friendliness, food quality and hygiene. I entered the café this morning after 10 am and was pleasantly greeted by a young waitress who directed me to a table, took my order and served the food. The lady, as with previous occasions, was exceptionally professional and friendly. The till was covered by another lady and I offered to pay by card and contactless. She seemed grumpy and moody and when she shouted “ declined“, I was not impressed. She rudely demanded that I use another card when, the correct procedure would have been to retry using pin number. This would have certainly worked but, nonetheless, I paid with another card. I stood aside, found some change in my pocket, and put it in the staff box. She failed to appreciate or thank me. How rude and unprofessional? I recommend to the management at this particular staff member be replaced or given more training on customer service. She does not do this Cafe are the other staff any credit. The receipt is dated: 14/11/22. Time 10.31.

I find Frank's very friendly, good clean service, very clean restaurant, I have come to this restaurant since the 1960s with my nan then my aunt ,sadly both have gone now but I'm still going there ,with my friend.
Franks Coffee Shop is great the staff are very friendly, helpful and the meals quite large for the price, they have sandwiches jacket potatoes with different fillings cheese, beans, tuna also prawns, breakfast meals and roast dinners,chicken, lamb or beef. The cafe is kept clean and tidy. I go to this cafe quite a few times a week I would recommend it
